In July of 2008, after serious determination, lot of serious planning and organization, the A.G.B.U. Glendale/Pasadena Chapter unveiled a most special corner of the center and called it "Bardez". Reminiscent of similar outdoor gardens of A.G.B.U. Centers in the Middle-East, "Bardez" is the perfect haven for summertime Friday eves, where friends and families love to gather under the stars while enjoying delicious homemade Armenian and Middle-Eastern dishes alongside the very popular "Soujoukh Sandwich" with coffee to follow. The food is delectable, the ambience warm and friendly and the atmosphere simply inviting.
